    Pros

You can move into high paid positions like driver after putting in a few years. Company offers a lot of training.

    Cons

You might end up working a part time, close to minimum wage job for years until you become a driver. Most guys looking to become drivers have other jobs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None, I considered this a temporary job so I dont care how I was treated.

    Pros

Any good reason to work for UPS has been slowly eliminated.

    Cons

Work environment is disguisting. Restrooms are reminiscent of the one in the movie Trainspotting.. Benefits decline annually.. Consolidations, and hiring and promotion freezes are the norm - every year jobs are eliminated through attrition and not filled, ensuring every year your workload will increase.. A change to job grades last year resulted in many employees being told they were overpaid and would not get raises. Those who do get raises usually get dismal raises.
