    Pros

Stability, career paths clearly defined, focus on quality and customer service. If you are already a project manager, you can get great experience. They just upped the 401K match for 2014 to 6%. If you are a junior consultant you can get great experience, do good work and you will be able to get raises and promotions. Flexibility varies by manager. The support structure is there to work from home if you can get sign off. They are starting a Great Place to Work initiative that is really doing some nice things in local offices.

    Cons

This is global engineering company with small pockets of IT consulting. If you are doing IT consulting you will have a hard time getting resources, support, hardware, etc. There is no overhead for training, project management certification, conferences, etc. You will be expected to do a lot on your own time to maintain your 100% sold rate. Raises were ok until 2013 and then tanked (regardless of your review or billability). They do not invest in office perks. For a global company, there isn't collaboration between offices - it is almost a competitive atmosphere between offices to retain clients, status and business development. There is not a solid business line for IT consulting here. Benefits are pretty bad especially at higher pay grades (over 90K a year and you will pay over $500 per month for a family).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in your employees. Give them time for training. If you require them to get a PM certification, then provide (at least some) non-billable hours to work on it. Create a culture of mentor ship and collaboration between offices. Make employees care about the company.
