I worked at URS full-time for more than a year

Pros

great coworkers and office environment. Interesting projects and very busy place to work. Always able to learn from someone new and work on new, up and coming projects.

Cons

large corporation, lots of mid-level management, lots of paperwork. Can be very competitive if work is slow and hard to find new projects.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire competent management, don't just promote project managers to run the office with out any previous experience, degrees or management skills. The office has been out of an office manager for the past 4 years and this resulted in losing good clients, having no guidance or structure for the office staff and overall having no revenue. The entire office has only two clients. Sad.
