Excellent place of employment

Research Molecular Biologist (Current Employee)

ProsExcellent coworkers dedicated to solving pertinent issues for agriculture. Excellent community outreach and a high level of technological expertise to tackle multiple scientific questions/problems.

ConsGovernment 'Red Tape' issues can significantly slow down research activities. The federal budget issues in Washington have a trickle down effect on what can and can't be done, so this becomes an issue to the real world Gov't employee on an annual basis.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo what you can to keep good talent around. Do what you can to get ride of arbitrary policies that limit employment duration times for various positions.
