    Pros

    Benefits...that's it got nothing else

    Cons

It's not like going to work for your boss...its like going to work for your overbearing father and mother who argue all day and they tell you two different things to do and then change their minds half way through the task.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's just an officer not God...you can say no and you need to. If you tell them no they will be like OK why? You tell them why and they are like OK....It's that simple. Grow a pair for Gods sake...

I worked at US Air Force full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Pay and benefits are outstanding. It teaches you valuable, marketable skills while generally keeping you out of harm's way. Unlike the Amy and Marines, the jobs done by the vast majority of individuals are transferrable to the private sector.

    Cons

Tends to be very political in some fields. The Air Force tends to attract beaurocratic types, and if you're not a "brown noser" your career progression can be limited. Also, you can be on call 24/7, work 12-15 hour shifts 7 days a week with no time off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't get drunk with power and hold back those that won't stroke your ego.

    No opinion of CEO
