I have been working at US Airways part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great location near downtown Phoenix and Tempe, flight benefits, medical/dental insurance options, payouts when we rank #1 in DOT monthly ratings, good company culture and fellow employees.

    Cons

Low cost airline translates to lower pay than other companies, but Phoenix has a lower cost of living than many cities.

I have been working at US Airways full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    free travel when available
    few international destinations

    Cons

the pay, the pay, the stinking pay (or lack thereof) I made 13k last year
The flight attendant scheduling is a reserve system unless you have 47 years seniority so you never know where you're going or when, and you only get paid for 73 hours a month
The international layovers are waaay too short. By the time you sleep from working a 9 hour flight there is no time for sightseeing.
The customers act like they think this is still the golden age of flying
And did I mention that you can be called at anytime during your duty days to show up at the airport with an hour and a half of notice(obviously, you MUST live in your base city PHL,CLT,DCA) to make it on time
I can't say enough terrible things, if the economy wasn't in the crapper I would have been gone a long time ago

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop taking the bonuses and share the wealth
