I worked at US Airways full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Flight benefits. Due diligence before spending money on new endeavors. Conservative management keeps the company in position to be profitable in the long run. Good work life balance and culture.

    Cons

Not the most competitive salary wise. Flight benefits are not as great as advertised, as the number of flights have been significantly reduced. The company values it at around 15K to 20K, while in reality it's only worth around 3K to 5K due to the limited availability. Uncertainty involving job security once merger is completed in the next 2 years.

    Pros

The team is adept at identifying real revenue opportunities. Corporate culture is one of the friendliest in the industry. Tempe location is a nice place to work.

    Cons

Without a very large network in which to generate high revenues, compensations are typically somewhat lower than industry standard.
