US Airways – “Bad managers & HR doesn't listen to their employees”
Pros
Good medical and flight benefits
Cons
This is a cut-throat environment. If the new boss don't like you, they will do anything to get rid-off you even as far as to lie about your performance. Even if you receive an excellent review, HR don't look out for your best interest and listen to your side of the story. New manager will come into the department changing things that you are not trained for, then to tell you that they don't have time to sit and trainned you how they want things done is totally asinine.
Advice to Senior Management
Having the patient and investing on your employee that has been loyal to you will save you more time and money than hiring someone new. Wouldn't you still have to train that new employee? Train your managers in "Conflict Management" and hire someone who can take the management job and help train their employees to excel in their job. The managers are not the one who drives and makes money for the company, its the little people in the bottom. The employees that are in front of line who deals with customers, vendors, clients and co-workers on daily basis. The ones that are loyal and sticks to their job for better or worse no matter how little the company pays you. Also the people that has the drive to learn and excel in their work. These are the employees you should listen to... This is the reason why companies are loosing good people, cause they hire wrong managers for the job who doesn't know how to work with their employees. .
