I have been working at US Airways full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

*Senior leadership does care about the employees
*Meritocracy- Performance is rewarded
*Many recognition programs and "moral" events
*Flight & medical benefits are very good
*Tempe/Mill Ave is a great location

Cons

*Pay is below market rate due to lower revenue generation
*Due to pay the talent level is inconsistent
*Stressful industry; the public often blames the company/front line employees for things outside of their control

    Pros

    Everyone is friendly and willing to help you out. They teach you a lot and its fairly simple.
    There are also a lot of career opportunities with the company.

    Cons

    You have to work under bad weather conditions.

    Would be better if the company could work around school schedules.

    I have been working at US Airways full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Flexibility, friendly laid back, but undoubtedly down to business atmosphere. Great travel benefits, and ability to add on to pay.

    Cons

    The pay for the first three years is low. Crew Computer system could seriously use an update.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hold people personally accountable for their actions rather than the entire group. Please offer a concise growth track for those who are interested in stepping up their career.
