Long hours, hard work, micro management, lots of self sacrifice

    I worked at US Army full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    -Ability to travel to foreign countries for little to no cost.
    -Job security is great because you can kill someone and not get fired.
    -Benefits(insurance, housing, etc...)

    Cons

    -Travel can be bad depending on the location. You may be shot at while traveling for this company.
    -Long work hours and time away from family
    -Very physically demanding work

    Helps you develop leadership skills which can help you through out your whole military career and civilian career.

    Cons

    You will be spending very little time with family and more time in the field.

    Help develop an Army that gives equal amount of time for both training and family.
