    Pros

You have a chance to develop great commeraderie with fellow soldiers.

    Cons

Waking up early every day and being away from family is not always fun.

    Pros

Travel the world. Meet interesting people. Kill them. But really, if you join young, you will see more of the world than any of your peers. Pay is not bad when you factor in zero cost of living.

    Cons

Hope you're not married or expecting your girlfriend to wait for you to get back from war. Infidelity is higher in the military than probably any other profession [citation needed].

    Advice to Management

Stick to the Army core values and don't play favorites. I've had some of my best bosses and worst bosses in the Army. Takes all kinds, I guess.
