Fulfilling work, great people, common sense environment

Bureaucracy - constantly playing the middleman in a tug of war over on Capitol Hill. It hinders one's ability to accomplish the work that he/she loves

Fly best helicpters and work with the finest people to lead.

Leadership have began a tail spin with lip service supporting troops and families. Sad turn around and taging unwanted in media fat soldiers, tatoo's not to standard, atitude police to correct UNIFORM and attitude issues, civilians must think all departing service are dirt bags. Thanks to an unfeeling unaware leadership that forgot all lessons learned in the 1990's drawdown. Sad to see the pendulum of military moral after an exhaustive war drive go into the toilet.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Read the lessons of past buget tighting and errors in tagging military negatively in the media. Loss loss leadership style which will return a group of folks wanting to join less than a stellar profile. US military with mordern technologies that's often the tip of the advancments in our 21st century lifestyle. The government will need the best and brightest to support these technologies into the future.

    Challenging, Frustrating, Rewarding.

Personal development - emotional, intellectual. Excellent leadership on-the-job training, nothing quite like it for anyone else in their 20s.

Deployments. Indefinable, murky missions to foreign countries. Bad leadership (lots of it, unfortunately). Over-reliance on bureaucracy and a lack of creative thinking, particularly at unit-level and below
