Pros

The Army provides training in all aspects of your life which will make you a better person and more desirable to an outside employer after you complete your service.

Cons

This can be a tough job. It requires you to push yourself to your limits. You will not always be home in the evenings so your significant other needs to be understanding

I have been working at US Army full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, 30 days paid vacation, free healthcare for you and dependents, continual change of pace, excellent educational opportunities.

    Cons

Long hours, unpredictable, frequent travel, quality work ethic is only rewarded for more work, risk of becoming institutionalized, traditions are out of touch with reality, royal degree of separation between enlisted and officers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Completely reorganize command structure tradition between enlisted and officers

I have been working at US Army

    Pros

Generally a good work environment, and the people I've worked with are all hard working.

    Cons

Training is sub-par, and doesn't really prepare you to do your job. You get a basic understanding, but not to the extent you need to be effective.
