I worked at US Army full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Hundreds of benefits...if you can navigate the system and have the time, and if you live off the active duty side for 20 years and save ALL your money you can have a cool million by the time you are 38

Cons

You are not the owner of your body. You must do what you're told when you're told. Then there is always war. never pleasant

Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is nothing you can do. Because of the size and the complexity created by the military's system of micro management, there is nothing that can be done.

I have been working at US Army full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits, free education, free housing, food money, great lifetime experience, stepping stone to success if you don't waste your time wisely and embrace all the educational opportunities that military offers to you

    Cons

Military lifestyle is not for everybody. You have to really like it to be able to enjoy being a soldier. From my personal experience most of the people that are in the military hate it but keep staying in because it's an guaranteed and easy paycheck and free housing.
