I have been working at US Army full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

You receive 30 days vacation a year. The pay remains steady and the benefits are generous compared to what other corporations offer. Numerous opportunities for advancement and challenging assignments.

    Cons

You will deploy and be separated from family and or loved ones for several months at a time. You do not work a standard 9 to 5 type job. Your duty day usually begins around 6:00 Am and ends around 5:00 PM. You do work weekends when the mission requires.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Maintain transparent leadership style.
