    Pros

Excellent training opportunities. Good promotion opportunities. I truly believe that everyone should give atleast 2-3 years to the military so that they understand and have a deeper respect for Service Men and Women that risk their lives on a constant basis.

    Cons

You will miss birthdays and holidays away from your family. There will be times when you have to leave on a short notice.
