Not for me

Foreign Service Officer (Former Employee)

ProsThe diplomatic immunity is always nice, as was the lifestyle, and in this economic climate you can't beat the job security.

ConsYou will have very little control over what you do and where you live. This is a large bureaucracy, it is incredibly outdated, inflexible, and un-acommodating.

    Pros: Worked directly with Econ. head as well as meet with leaders… Cons: it was an unpaid internship, but i knew that when i took… Advice to Senior Management: travel should be covered to location.
