Best job ever

Microbiologist (Former Employee)
New Haven, CT

I worked at US Department of Veterans Affairs full-time for more than a year

ProsYou get to perform worthwhile work for a group of people that deserve the best you can give them. Working on the healthcare-side of things, the patients are often extremely grateful for your dedication to them. Good access to technology.

ConsSeniority may be valued a bit too highly; things can be slow to change. The buildings can be quite old.

Advice to Senior ManagementValue the new blood you bring in and help everyone achieve a good work-life balance.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
