“Working for US Foods has been a great experience with many challenges and opportunities along the way”
Current Employee – been working at US Foods full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Compensation
Engaging dialougue with senior leadership
Focused corporate strategy with goals clearly communicated
Cons – Health benefits packages have deterioriated over past few years
Vacation/paid time off program is the least competitive I have seen
Appreciable disconnect between corporate and field operations
Advice to Senior Management – Sales is most important but without operations we will never acheive the results we want. There needs to be just as much focus on driving efficiency as there is to growing customer base and taking market share. i.e. More sales doesn't always = more profit
