Learned a lot but could have easily done the same in the civilian world making more money.

    Pros

Good Training, decent benefits, and the ability of relocating.

    Cons

The Marine Corps as a whole works almost 10-11 hour days while paying its personnel under the poverty line. And to top it all off all the government wants to do is to cut the military pay for a while to help with deficits and everything else wrong with this country. We put up with all of this and the problems from inside the workplace.

    Pros

The training is second to none, some of the best training you will ever receive is from the experience the Marine Corps provides.

    Cons

For the amount of work and overtime you put in, the salary does not cut it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Marines come first, then yourself. In order for this organization to be more efficient, troop welfare comes first, then mission accomplishment.
