I have been working at US Marine Corps full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The benefits, the fact they will care for you no matter what happens. You will always get paid, always have food, always have somewhere to live. The education and medical benefits are amazing, especially for your family. The pay is pretty decent, depending on how you budget. I had no issues.

    Cons

Its very hard physically, and it can take a toll on your family. Combat deployments are hard and long, it's a challenge on anyone and their family. The first to fight isn't a motto, it's a lifestyle. We're always fighting, fighting, training, training.
