I have been working at US Marine Corps full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Travel, real work experience, stable salary, comprehensive benefits, don't stay in one place for more than three years, educational opportunities, training, schools, leadership opportunities

    Cons

Poor leadership can ruin one's experience, career progression, eight year contractual commitment.
Current financial situation is forcing leadership to "shape the force" also known as rightsizing or downsizing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Avoid cloning. Innovation does not come from stagnation! Drop the motto "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

    Recommends
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
