    Pros

Excellent education benefits, health benefits available, career advancement, work experience, life experience, generally down-to-earth people, serving 'Merica

Bureaucracy, line-after-line (but what can you do?), some higher-ups are bored and get on your case

I have been working at US National Guard as a contractor

    Pros

Strong Professional Development Potential. Supposed to be able to build confidence for other areas of life.

    Cons

Long term commitment and high income disparity between work and reward. The least capable leaders tend to stay in longer, while the more capable ones give up due to a broken promotion system.
