good benefits and pay but lots of sacrifice and hard work depending on the rate

Norfolk, VA

Current Employee – been working at US Navy full-time for more than 10 years

Prosexellent tuiton assistance, pay 100% tuiton exept books while active duty and after.
medical and dental, basic housing allowance, life insurance

Conslots of time away from family, duty days, move every 3 or 4 years, advancement depends on the rate chosen, with ERB and PTS nowadays there is no job security,

Advice to Senior Managementis not fear to get rid off people that had given so many years to the military. ERB was a big mistake and shouldnt be used again. Instead of getting rid of good sailors they should slow down the recruiting on those overmaned rate.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
