I have been working at US Navy full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The job security is great, guaranteed paychecks on the first and fifteenth, but they tend to fluctuate in terms of exact dollar amounts. Medical and dental benefits are decent, long wait times and appointments tend to be months out from the original sign up date. Overall, the Navy instills discipline and hard work that's hard to find elsewhere and a great stepping stone for a younger adult who needs help with the cost of college with the vast amounts of educational benefits the military offers.

    Cons

    - Deployments
    - Unpredictable schedule
    - Going TAD

    Recommends
    Negative Outlook
    Approves of CEO
