    Pros

Travel, Promotions, Living salary, Medical, doing some of the coolest things every (and being paid for it)

    Cons

Challenging living conditions, 24/7 365 day availability, being in harms way

    Advice to Management

Force Commanding Officers to actually be the "bad guy" and discharge poor performers to avoid indiscriminate "force shaping" measures (down sizing).
