    Pros

    Great travel, education, comraderie in the world. Continuous room for advancement and growth professionally and on a personal level. Diverse group of co workers, supervisors and subordinates.

    Cons

    Time away from family could be tough. Long hours and hard work at times. Have to deal with a great deal of beuorcracy that comes from such a large organization.

    Advice to Management

    Don't ever loose sight that the greatest assest the Navy has are its SAILORS.

    Pros

    The Navy offers more opportunities faster than in many other careers. The pay is comparable or better than many other equal industries.

    Cons

    You do not get to always choose where you want to live and may be deployed away from loved ones for months at a time.
