I worked at US Navy full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Travel, educational opportunities. You're always able to look for opportunities for schools and educational opportunities. Plus it gives you veteran's preference for the rest of your life. The GI-Bill is also great.

    Cons

None! I understood what I was getting into when I enlisted to my expectations were already adjusted for the hard times of missing holidays and such.
