Learing about diversity and inclusion. Team building, commeradere, leadership in high tempo operations. Getting the opportunity to experience other cultures.

Cons

Inconsistent scedules and work routine. Work-life balance. Culture clash with certain values and beleifs.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Company values and ideas on diversity could be improved. Accepting organizational change in balancing new ideas with traditional cultural values.

    Pros

    Very stable work environment and supportive leadership. Great satisfaction that in helping your country make a difference.

    Cons

    Energy level of many people in this environment is either low or very serious. There is also a large gap in experience so you will have a very young generation with a much more experienced older generation but not many people in the middle.

    Pros

    The US Navy provides job security, training, camaraderie and a sense of fulfillment. An opportunity to grow your your leadership skills, with the opportunity think on your feet during high stress situations. Benefits are good for both the member and their families.

    Cons

    Mission always changes, longer hours than most, separation from family with unknown times of return.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Continue to move the hard chargers up and provide the needed training and mentorship as they grow.
