    Pros

Great benefits, great co-workers, innovative executive management and process improvement focused, the ability and empowerment to do the right thing for the member because you believe it is the right thing to do.

    Cons

Two jobs in one - a call center focused job along with the tasks of a claim adjuster. Very phone intensive without the opportunity to get to the work assigned to you on a daily basis. Must be willing to work every moment you are scheduled, which sounds easy enough, but it wears on you after a while. Overall, it is not a terrible place, but I would like to see less focus on the phone adherence and more focus on file quality and claim resolution.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the great innovation and intelligent process improvement ideas. USAA does a great job of listening to the employees with their open door policies. Just focus on the phone intensive jobs, make it clear which is more important - it is difficult to sustain both parts of the job over a long period of time without getting burned out.
