I worked at USF Reddaway full-time for more than a year

Pros

I had a great supervisor and learned how to do things the proper way. First few months were great.

Cons

Didn't get full time benefits even though I worked over 50 hours a week for 6 months. I eventually had to move on.... Plus, after a merger, all the good habits were discarded

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give workers only 30 hours if you want them to be treated as part time employees.

    I have been working at USF Reddaway full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Lots of hours good benefits

    Cons

    Getting pay cut of 15% thats ok but said would be reinacted after 3 years.Took a week vacation from us instead. Equipment getting run down.Moral is terrible because management does not care about there employees. No time to enjoy life working at this company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be more friendly and caring toward your employees. Were people.not numbers. Dont always see people through suspicious eyes.

    Pros

    Hours, no customer service for the most part, a few good people, and fun racing around on lifts

    Cons

    No room for advancement, not many people have goals, supervisors and other driver/dockworkers believe yelling and being rude will get the job done and build morale...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More professionalism would be great! Yelling doesn't make anyone work faster, just causes problems. Also, why take away 15% of employee income and expect 15% more work without any complaining? Glad I left this place even though it was fun a times.
