    I have been working at UT Southwestern Medical Center full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    The people are great though there is the occasionally difficult encounter (to be expected), insurance is great (like really wonderful), there are several career enrichment programs, and most recently an MBA program available to staff.

    Cons

    Some disorganization between hospital/clinical functions & applications

    Pros

    I had a great time working with my manager. The scope of my job broadened as I became more knowledgible of the needs and focus of UTSW.

    Cons

    That the manager that hired me retired.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Always communicate as much as you can with your Administrative Assistant personnel so they can actually be your third hand and anticipate your needs
