Ulta – “Ulta - Not too bad”

Pros

A lot of freebies from training. Good people to work with. Fast paced environment. Prefer to pormote from within. Generous discount in the retail side of the store and in the salon. Corporate office is always willing to listen, even if they cannot help in the moment.

Cons

Company just went public and will anything to save a dollar....including cutting hours back so there is never any chance to have help on the floor to help the customers. Not enough training from vendors, so there are a lot of lines store know nothing about. Opening too many new stores. Should focus on the ones they have first.

Advice to Senior Management

Realize it is hard to make sales when there is no one on the salesfloor. Also work on getting more training to stores. They could sell more if they had training.
