Former Employee - Outside Sales Representative
Former Employee - Outside Sales Representative

I worked at UniFirst full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Some opportunity for advancement, decent pay and laid back culture (family atmosphere).

Cons

Old school in terms of the sales and service processes and greatly needs an overhaul. Managers lack training, keen business acumen and education. The company may need to consider bringing in more M.B.A grads and experienced M. B. A managers who can be a catalyst for growth and overall company (or branch) growth. Additionally, a move toward providing current century sales and methodologies would help improve sales and reduce turnover.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on technological growth and consider bringing in lean six sigmas philosophic ideas to improve efficiencies.

Look for people that can manage to promote to management, not just people who have performed well in their current position
