I have been working at Unilever full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Good money, competitive benifits, a healthy work environment.

Cons

Lack of stability, need of structure and less "sweeping things under the rug."

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your employees are extremely fortunate to work for you. Many do not display this by the lack of work ethic and inability to work well with coworkers. Racial slurrs were used and even physical altercations occurred that you guys no nothing about. Tell employees that gossip is unprofessional and strongly discouraged.

Former Employee - Associate Finance Manager in Englewood Cliffs, NJ

I worked at Unilever full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Some innovative workplace initiatives, like agile spaces, make it easier to develop a team environment and understand where everything fits.

    Cons

The training could have been better. More political than I've seen in other companies. People needed to be nagged constantly to respond to emails.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make an effort to decrease politics.
