Great Company with niggling shortcomings

Assistant Brand Manager (Current Employee)
Singapore (Singapore)

ProsGreat balanced and diverse culture. Performance-driven tempered with wholesome "family-ness".
Opportunities for travel and training.

ConsPay is not competitive enough
Human Resource Management seem more focused on processes rather than people itself.
Lack of career certainty (roadmap) for entry-to-mid level positions.

Advice to Senior ManagementDivert more resources to truly developing internal talent for the long-run, invest in retaining and nurturning talent pipeline instead of resorting to mid-career recruits. This will enable long-term competitive advantage if Unilever wants to be the top FMCG company.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
