I have been working at Unilever full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

As a marketer, it is a dream to be able to work on several brands throughout your career.
The company has a heart - it cares about doing well by doing good, for consumers and the environment, as well as employees.

Cons

Decision making is notoriously complex and slow - so many stakeholders to align on decisions.
Career progression can be a minefield because of intense competition. Especially with a lot of freeze hiring periods.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value people over process, because outsourcing causes frustration for the end users even if it generates savings.

Former Employee - Supply Chain Manager in Mexico, Distrito Federal (Mexico)

I worked at Unilever full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You have a lot of responsibility since day one. Fast paced environment. International exposure.

    Cons

There's no balance between personal and professional life. I had to work 70 hours a week. It can be difficult to get a managerial position due to the evaluation process which show for at least two consecutive years exceeded or excellent objectives.
