I have been working at Unilever full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Extremely ethical, progressive, competitive pay, collegial, smart & nice people. Stellar brands!

    Cons

Silos, too much reliance on broken "systems" for such things as paying vendors, filling in annual goals & objectives. There is also no on-boarding - very difficult to understand all of Unilever's complexities. Sink or swim. Some leaders constantly talk about how the company "overpays" and how some people just don't work hard enough. Nearly impossible to get rated for "great performance," even if you're killing yourself trying to do the job of a couple of people. Extremely hierarchical.
