Pros

Company once had great culture and was customer focused

Cons

The merger years ago gradually killed the culture and customer focus, changed management, continued shuffling of management and focus, is dragging the company down. Once they sold off the old Borroughs Payment Systems Division, it doomed part of their mainframe line.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Return to a customer, employee focused approach! Shoot for a balance between technology, hardware and services, being totally services focused means you are competing in a market you can never be a real leader in.

    Pros

    Great working atmosphere. Great managers.

    Cons

    once the good managers quit, they brought in a series of consulting firms to trim the structure. Ended up ruining and closing a good operation.

    They need to be more responsive to the market.
