United Airlines Flight Attendant in San Francisco, CA:   (Current Employee)

Pros

I loved the travel and layovers as well as the commraderie with other crew members.

Cons

Management is terrible. Their salaries and bonuses are so out of line especially in bankruptcy that in many ways it is disrespectful to the crews that had to take 20% pay cuts. They pay no attention to input from flight attendants about what passengers might like.

Advice to Senior Management

Quit giving yourselves bonuses when the airline is losing money. Also, consider taking reductions in salary at least equivalant to the line personnel. I have never heard of any other company that treated their primary sales people (the ones interacting with the customers) so poorly.
