United Airlines – “Terrible morale

United Airlines Flight Attendant in Seattle, WA:   (Past Employee - 2007)

Pros

Flexible schedule and travel opportunities. It's exciting to travel internationally-take off in one city and land in a different country. Although you may have difficult passengers on a flight when the trip is over you are done and don't have to deal with them again. You are always working with different crews so there is always variety. You have the ability to work as many hours as you need during the month so although there can be long days (particularly on international flights) you may then be off for a week.
I loved the job of flying but was very disheartened by the senior management.

Cons

Morale is terrible after all the concessions the employees have made when upper management continues to receives bonuses for running the company into the ground.

Advice to Senior Management

Take employees into consideration.
