Pros

Fair pay, flight benefits, seasoned and renowned management. Mgmt pushing to bring in Continental work culture. Great work experience overall. No doubt that it will be a great company going forward.

Cons

Pre-merger United culture and mindset is still prevalent in some areas

    This is a great place to gain experience in all functions of management. The job is challenging and gives you the opportunity to grow as a supervisor

    Things are improving after the merger with Continental but they are still very political with many muddy processes

    Readiness of the front line to help and support each other

    Cons

    Very political
    Angry and resentful employees who have dedicated their lives to this company but lost their pensions during bankruptcy
    Leadership turnover has people tuning out of implementing changes because they feel it will change again shortly
    Lack of transparency
    Constant directive to cut expenses and not capitalize any projects to improve internal tools, systems and infrastructure

    Invest in tools and technology for both customers and employees
