I have been working at United Airlines as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Great exposure to aircraft systems - Internship is applicable to a broad range of engineering disciplines. (Aerospace concentration is not required) -Ability to travel stand-by on any United flight for free or heavily discounted price for international flights. -Work hours are flexible

    Cons

    - Salary is not commensurate to the location of employment - Not the best place if you are seeking heavily technical oriented internship (i.e.doing equations or design work) -Mundane but necessary paperwork and somewhat antiquated processes -Lack of employment opportunities
