Pros

Great onboarding and orientation experience got me settled and feeling like part of the team immediately!

Cons

Just started and nothing negative to report at this point.

Advice to Management

For someone just starting out the experience has been great and I don't think there is anything to improve upon. For such a large company, it surprisingly feels smaller and intimate which really shows the type of culture that exists at United Airlines.

    Pros

Too many bosses! The sheer number of titles is ridiculous!

    Cons

    All chiefs not enough indians.

    Advice to Management

Slash it to the bone and promote competence not cronies

    Pros

Everyone really has a passion for the Aviation industry and you can feel the energy from people who love what they do. That is something that is missing in many companies today and it's just fun to be a part of a group who is that excited about their jobs.

    Cons

With a company this large with so many moving cogs, everything must work perfectly. Sometime if one thing goes awry it can effect many other parts of the organization.

    Advice to Management

Make sure yearly goals are measurable and quantifiable. Qualitative goals are challenging to work towards and verify.
