I have been working at United Allergy Services full-time (more than an year)

Pros

1) Allows recent graduates to work directly in a healthcare setting, helping them gain experience working with patients, clinical staff, and physicians on a daily basis.

2) Employees do not have someone constantly looking over their shoulder/employees have lots of independence. With the independence also comes great responsibility to uphold integrity and company values/protocol.

3) Fast growing company that has the ability to recognize talent when they see it. There are many great opportunities for your professionals to move up the ladder and take on more responsibility.

4) Great upper management starting with the CEO/directors and trickling down to account managers. They create a very unique work culture that is driven, fun, and infectious.

Cons

1) This is not necc. a "con" but the majority of the company (other than corporate employees) are spread out across the country working in an assigned medical clinic. (Not a typical office/work environment).

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find a way to improve feedback times on common issues/questions. Improve billing aspect in the actual clinic setting by possibly having field billing specialists.

Deceiving,Unethical, Morally Corrupt, DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE MORALS.

    Pros

The only Pro to this company is that you get to interact with patients, however most of those you will be forced to convince they need a treatment in which they actually DO NOT.

    Cons

All good reviews posted here are clearly from CORPORATE MARKETING. It seems odd that every time a REAL review is posted a FIVE STAR review with company buzz-words and phrases pops up within a couple days. This company continues to become more corrupt by the day. Patient health takes a backseat to sales and keeping the physician you work for happy. ANY physician that agrees to have this company work for them is doing so because they WANT MORE MONEY, not because they care about their patients allergies. Almost all the practices that agree to work with UAS are SMALL TOWN single physician offices that are lacking a patient base sufficient enough to support their life style. This is solely a means of increased income for the doctor, and being that, they could care less about the patients past, current or future medical history. Physicians refer patients that clearly need to see an E.N.T. specialist, but would rather collect their $500 for an allergy test regardless if the patient is low income and has to pay that out of pocket. This company and their associated doctors are taking advantage of the patient provider relationship, in that they know if the doctor suggests it, the patient will do it. Stay far away if you would like to retain your ethics and morals as a future provider or medical care professional.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop trying to offset the REAL reviews of this company with your marketing team. There are clearly numerous things wrong with the way you conduct business and it's going to come out sooner or later.
