Pros – The best reasons to work for United Surgical Partners include; their ability to develop strong team cohesion throughout a vast network of professionals, the opportunity for continual advancement within the organization, and the positive environment within which employees are encouraged to treat one another with fairness and respect. United Surgical Partners has been continually successful in their quest to promote organizational growth through the development of new surgical facilities throughout the United States and Europe. This world class organization has succeeded in establishing itself as a leader in cutting edge surgical care throughout many diverse markets. Overall, United Surgical Partners is an excellent organization with which to be affiliated.

Cons – Some of the downsides of working at United Surgical Partners are; the less than optimal benefits packages sometimes offered, the occasional uncertainty surrounding the circumstances of being a publicly traded organization, and the less than optimal communication lines existing between senior leadership and the remainder of the organization. Some within the organization believe that operations could be enhanced through the improvement of communication methods between individual facilities and senior management. Although senior management has good intentions, they must realize the logistics involved in disseminating information throughout an organizational network as large as United Surgical Partners. Improvements in communication methods would greatly increase productivity and morale throughout United Surgical Partners vast professional network.

Advice to Senior Management – I would advise senior management to increase awareness regarding the significance of proper communication in achieving it's goal in becoming the premier world leader in cutting edge surgical care. I would also advise those in senior management to review the benefits and compensation packages currently being offered to employees. These packages could be more competitive with respect to the organization's size and market leverage. Overall, United Surgical Partners is an excellent company with which to be a part of.
