I worked at United Talent

Pros

Great place to work to learn the ins-and-outs of the entertainment industry. Great place to learn skills you will use to be an agent.

Cons

If you plan on making your way to an agent plan on doing a ton of sucking up and don't plan on seeing your family for 4 years. Be ready to feel like you aren't worth anything.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's not all about you, the people under you are doing most of the work. Give credit where its due.

    I worked at United Talent

    Pros

Complete freedom. Interesting opportunity to sample the scripts being submitted to a major agency. They never put pressure on readers to take on more volume. It's completely ad hoc

    Cons

Pay is very low (~$55/script). It works out to less than $10/hour. So this is not worth pursuing as a source of income. It's only beneficial if you want to practice writing coverage.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A small increase in the pay per script would go a long way.
