I have been working at United Way part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Making a difference living united to help the 55+ market find employment. We have 75 on my project's payroll and six others have found permanent jobs with benefits!
Also, this job has enhanced my administrative skills including advanced excel and QuickBooks.

    Cons

The pay rate is so low, especially for my skill level and MBA in Accounting. I am paid through a federal government grant and the position is limited to four years, and I cannot have wages from another job at the same time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote me, which is not in the budget and will not happen.
