My experience has been very good, not quite long enough to be able to give a more objective review.

    Pros

United World Mission has a passion to encourage, equip and build leaders around the world for God Kingdom

    Cons

I haven't discovered any policy or programs which has discouraged our process in going to do field. Awesome organization.

I worked at United World Mission full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You get to be part of a ministry that has been sending missionaries to Latin America for close to a hundred years. A lot of vacation/ comp days/ holidays.

    Cons

Very patriarchal (and I am not a feminist by any means). During orientation, it is expected that you work sometimes 18 hour days.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

At this point, there is no advice to give. The recent president allowed the agency to be run into the ground and it has now merged with another agency.

    Doesn't Recommend
