When I first took the job I was lead to believe it would be for advancement opportunities and knowledge. It truly is only for the knowledge you receive and work experience.
Cons
The management is extremely passive, and uninterested in the well being of his or her employees. Trying to get time off for medical and or an emergency situation is impossible. Compassion is not something known to anyone at UHC. Working for United honestly caused me a great deal of stress, and left me constantly looking over my shoulder wondering, "What is going to go wrong next?"
Advice to Senior Management
Care about your employee's. If they are happy they will provide better service and be more susceptible for change, and most other situations. Offer better benefits and have compassion if an employee has a medical emergency, do not focus on the slightest of details and harp on them. Give back to the employee's and show a genuine interest in them, not a fake and or forced approach. Managers should be approachable and not so stand offish that most employees avoid them.
